‘Blenheim Orange’
Offer £16.40
(Triploid). An old favourite. Dessert/culinary apple with large fruits and a distinctive sweet, nutty flavour. When cooked the fruits keep their shape. Resistant to mildew. Suitable for the north.
Season Oct–Jan.

‘Discovery’ AGM*
Offer £15.95
(Requires pollinator). The UK’s most widely grown, early, dessert apple. Bright scarlet, crisp, juicy fruits. Stores well for an early cultivar. Resistant to scab and mildew. Can be grown throughout UK. Season late Aug–Sept. 

‘Falstaff’

(Self-fertile). A heavy-cropping, easy-to-grow, dessert apple with red-striped fruits. Crisp and juicy with a refreshing, fruity flavour. Produces a compact tree.
Good resistance to late frost. Season Oct–Dec.

‘Herefordshire Russet’

(Self-fertile). An excellent new dessert apple combining the aromatic flavour of Cox with a golden russet skin. A favourite in taste trials. Heavy cropping. Can be grown throughout the UK.

‘Howgate Wonder’ AGM

(Partially self-fertile). Raised in 1915, this is the largest of the cooking apples. The red-striped fruits keep their shape when cooked and have a  light, sub-acid flavour. Resistant to mildew. Suitable for the north. Season Oct–March.

‘Red Devil’

(Self-fertile). Crisp dessert cultivar with decorative, bright-red fruits and a superb strawberry flavour. The juice is a beautiful pink colour. Resistant to scab and mildew. Suitable for wet areas.
Season Oct–Nov.   

 

WHAT YOU'LL GET
Trees supplied are grafted on to M26 semi-dwarfing rootstock, which will produce a tree that is easy to grow and easy to pick. Bush apple trees will grow to 2.4-3.6m in height and spread. Trees are supplied bare-rooted and at 1.2-1.5m high. Choose two different cultivars to ensure adequate pollination. Self-fertile cultivars do not require a pollinator. Triploids will not act as pollinators.
